Welcome
My name is Amaya Lilles and I am an emerging professional in international economic and social development. My work is driven by a commitment to advancing financial and economic empowerment, expanding access to information, and promoting political accountability. I aspire to build a career dedicated to strengthening institutional frameworks for public equity and shaping inclusive, pro-people social and fiscal policies through data-driven analysis, public-private partnerships, and strategic risk management.
Currently, I work at the Financial Services Volunteer Corps, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to fostering economic development by strengthening financial systems and institutions in transitioning and developing countries.
Below you’ll find a selection of my written work where I’ve explored topics at the intersection of global development, governance, and human rights—areas shaped by my interest in history, politics, and policy. If you're interested in my work, want to connect, or have a conversation, please feel free to reach out to me via LinkedIn or at lillesamaya@gmail.com.
